2013 Sea Doo GTI SE 155 steering wear ring replacement

Hello, I have a new to me 2013 GTI SE 155 that has a lot of play in the steering column. Looking at the parts diagram there are two wear rings on the steering stem that I ordered and now trying to install. I am having a hard time figuring out how to remote the console and gauge cluster in order to get to the steering stem where the wear rings sit. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? I reviewed the shop repair manual but having a hard time locating the procedure.

Remove gauge cover, 2 screws under each mirror and bump rearward. Then you can see the steering column to unbolt the 2 halves of the drive clamp where the small bushing is in front of to change. The column will then move a little rearward and you can change the large bushing and the small bushing wear rings.
