The IBR on my Wake 155 is slow to engage on the dash. If you are in forward and pull the IBR lever for Neutral or Reverse there is a few seconds delay, ( 4 to 6 seconds now where it used to be instant) in it coming up on the dash screen as well as a delay in it actually moving the pump gate into place. It has also started to be engaged in reverse upon start up instead of neutral. One time I did a fast reverse and it would not go into neutral or forward and an IBR Issue alert came on the dash. I unplugged the DES cord and reconnected it and the issue went to normal but still with the delay in neutral or reverse. There does not seem to be any excess play in the gate and the ski only has 170 hours on it in fresh water. Took it to the dealer last year and no specific codes were found and they reset the system with the B.U.D.S. computer.
