Quick question would it be a huge issue is an oil pressure sensor was installed without a washer?

It will leak if it had a washer, but I suspect yours is a taper thread style, you clean it good and use blue loctite when you install it, the loctite is the sealant for the threads and torque is 80 inch lbs.
