I would replace the plugs as the threaded tip the coil goes on is most likely stripped.

A tip when installing new plugs is to rotate or spin the coil 90 degrees from where it would normally be when you push it down.

This way it wears a path on that part of the thread instead of where it would be in the final position. When it is fully down, rotate the coil to the right spot.
 
You have to unscrew the little metal cap on the top of the spark plug and throw the cap away. You install with only the small threaded post showing. It will never stay down until you install it properly.
