Hi,
I have a 2011 GTI 155 limited edition. At the end of last year it started running a little rough and uses alot of gas. When opening it for this season battery was dead. So far I have replaced the battery, changed spark plugs and removed fuel injectors and tested and cleaned them. Top speed after doing all this is only 45 and top RPM at about 6200
The number 2 cylinder appears not to be firing. When I pull the stick coil nothing changes in the engine. So far I have tested the compression, it is good, check for spark and that is good. Put a noid light on the fuel injector connector and that appears to be good. Check fuses all good. Put it on computer and no codes.
Appears that the male connector may possibly not be delivering power to fuel injector (noid light does flash and show that power is present, however, I'm think it is not making a solid connection to the fuel injector). Is it possible to replace just the male connector? Any one know the part number or how to take the connector apart to get to the wires? Was able to get the black boot out but afraid to pull to hard on the white ferrell where the two pins go into to get to the wires.
I just sent the fuel injectors out to have them sonic cleaned and would like to get the connector ordered while I wait for them to come back.
Thanks for your help
