2010 seadoo wake 310 boat

Hi,

I need to replace steering cable in my 2010 seadoo 310 wake boat. I've been searching endlessly for the part number that is shown from Seadoo however, I have had absolutely zero luck. Part number from Seadoo is 204390587. I did find a rabbit hole that seemed to be promising but still no luck with that either. Sites were saying that the part number was replaced with 277001867 but I have no idea if thats accurate and can't confirm if it is true. Either way, I cant find that part number available anywhere either. I've attached pictures from Seadoo and the actually schematic and also from the rabbit hole saying the part number was replaced. Please help if you can. Boat is qlmost completely new otherwise, just has a little wonky/catchy steering.1000031591.jpg1000031593.jpg1000031596.jpg1000031595.jpg

If you what to know all part substitutions go to you local parts department and they will gladly give you all substitution numbers the parts has gone threw its lifetime, that way you could doo searches online for each of them.

Lol...I tried that.... they "gladly" told me it was discontinued... hence why im deep diving in the internet and have resorted to social media, rabbit holes and this seadoo forum...

I wish and did expect the actual dealer to have the answer and turn it in and it be fixed but that wasn't the case. I also refuse to believe that I have the only 2010-2011 210 wake boat that has or needs the steering cable replaced and that there's just no fix and the boat is useless now with everything else in top condition. So thats why I created the thread to see if anyone else has had luck.

At my local dealer they take the time to lookup the substitution numbers and they gladly give them to me when I ask them.

Probably what would be the most important would be to find a cable that is at least as long and has the same ends as yours.

They gave me the information that I posted? And said the only way that I could try and get it was find it on the internet or have it custom fabricated...

While we're talking, can you maybe ask your dealer/parts people my question then? Maybe they have a better answer. Mine was a dead end
