I installed a new battery and the ski is draining it. I replaced the battery and charging fuses and still nothing. The ski is giving me a low voltage error. I changed for another new battery from a different ski and it is doing the same thing. After about an hour of ride time on both batteries it drains to the point where it doesnt start anymore. I am very capable but dont have that much time so I figured I would get some guidance before I dig into it. Are there any easy possible fixes, or is this a new stator kind of thing? Also what is the best easiest way and location to test if the stator is putting out energy. I have a simple multimeter from harbor freight and it usually does everything I need it to. Thanks

Is the battery being drained while just sitting or while you are riding it?

If just sitting then you have a short that's draining it.

If while riding then the stator (I think) is not charging the battery.

I suspect it could be the rectifier as well, yes?

OK probably the regulator/rectifier.

There is a test but I can't recall what it is at the moment.......do you have a manual?
