2008 RXT Riva thru hull exhaust install question?

For those that have done it. I picked up a used kit for a great price, I downloaded the install instructions from Riva. My question is, where does the barbed fitting on the end of the exhaust attach to? On the tube right before it goes out of the hull. The instructions are not so great. Thank you

Try calling RIVA. They tech support is very good.
