I just got my 2008 RXT seadoo back after being winterized and having it's 10 hour maintenance. After riding it for a couple of hours in chop, I unscrewed the bilge plugs and anit-freeze poured out.
I haven't had a chance to do any real investigation yet. But my course of action was going to be:
1. Check if any anti-freeze is left in whatever tank it came out of (As you can tell I don't know much about seadoo's or engines
).
2. If it is empty, fill it up and see if it leaks on it's own without running it.
If it leaks on it's own, try to find the source. If it doesn't, take it in to get serviced or try riding it again for about 20 minutes and evaluate the results.
I will probably need to take it to the dealer either way. Also, I wasn't sure if it was due to excessive anti-freeze from the people that serviced it.
Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
