2008 gtx limited engine code P0616

Anyone that could help it would be greatly appreciated. After riding for 15-20 minutes the machine beeps and says check engine with code P0616 displayed. Then the machine starts to beep more frequently, and once you shut the machine off it wont restart. We thought it was the starter relay, but that was changed and the problem still exists. I think may be a short somewhere but not really sure where to start.

It could be that the starter relay fuse is blown. Check all of the fuses.

Thanks. The starter relay fuse is good. If we disconnect the battery and the machine sits for a while, it will run for 15-20 minutes and then it starts beeping again. Once you shut it off it won't even turn over.

sound like starter relay i checked the 2005 manual and also tells you to check you have 12volts on pin 2 of the relay connector also check the starter relay wiring for a short and damaged connector/ pins.. I know its not the same machine put most seadoo engine wiring hasn't changed for years.
