So I installed a shutoff valve today. Pretty straightforward. However, when I was rooting around and connecting the hose ends to the valve I heard something metallic drop and start rolling around in the hull. A magnet fished this spring out of the hull. Could this have fallen out of the hose? Is this something that keeps the hose from collapsing? Anyone ever seen a spring like this in their ski? This thing is a 2007 Wake 215 with 30 hours on it that I just bought and I highly doubt anyone's been tinkering in there before me.
