2007 RXP 215 supercharger mod

My dealer tells me that changing the supercharger to the unit from the 255 model will greatly increase power because of a gear ratio change in the charger. He say no additional fueling is needed. This all sounds almost to good to be true. He claims it will make "around" 250hp with this and an air intake. Any opinions????

There are many options to make more power with your RXP. I'm curious how much they want to charge you to swap out the unit? Just changing the supercharger's impeller will yeild results without changing out the entire unit.

Find a new dealership. It is not a different gear that makes the difference in power it is the volume of air that the x supercharger pushes. You will need 42lb injectors with that charger. You will have to use the stock intercooler as well, if you want an external intercooler then you will need a rrfpr. You would be better of with a different wheel in the charger and an external intercooler

Thanks for the replies. He claims that they have done this mod on several skis with great results. However they don't do the injectors or anything else!!! which would lead me to believe that it would be running lean at max boost.

Ya you need the injectors with that charger for sure.

The x-charger will go well with the stage 1 however the prop supplied in the stage 1 is not steep enough if used with the x charger, you will need a 15/20R
