I've had some issues with the DESS recognizing the key sporadically in the past couple of seasons (had to pull it on/off, clean it, etc to get it to start some days), but in general the ski ran good last year. This year, when I put the battery back in, and tried to start it, the display would come on (no beeps) and then the display would turn off a few seconds later. If I removed the key, waited a few seconds and then put the key back in, the display would come on again, and go back off (again no beeps). I have replaced the battery with a new one and get the same symptoms. I've checked all the fuses. So, what's next? Starter relay?
