I have 06 single 4tec motor sportster ... when I got the boat the RPM gauge never worked (3 years ago). Right before summer last year my fuel gauge stopped working. So last summer I was down both gauges. Well I couldn’t find any fuel gauges for sale so I had a 2 stroke Seadoo fuel gauge laying around so I wired it up, fuel gauge problem solved... now to the rpm gauge....I’m hoping I can do the same an find a 2 stroke gauge and wire it up. There is a replacement gauge for my boat on eBay but it’s 300$. Insane. On the back of the gauge the wire that comes from the motor that sends the gauge the rpm. Does anyone know where exactly that goes on the motor so I can check it an make sure it has no bends or breaks in it. Thanks
