Hello,
I have a 2006 GTX Supercharged that just died earlier this evening after being run for the first time this summer. I put the ski in the water a few hours ago and noticed that the ski was making a weird noise when I pressed the Start button. After a couple of tries, the ski eventually started and seemed to be running just fine. After pulling away from the landing and driving back towards our house to dock it, the ski started idling between 2200-2400 RPM. I drove the ski up onto the dock and cut the engine off, but I wasn't up far enough so I had to restart the ski to push up further. When I tried to start the engine up again, it made the same noise as before. Each time I held in the start button the dashboard screen would flicker and glitch out for a second, and after the third or fourth time of pressing the button, the screen went completely blank and the noise stopped. The ski doesn't seem to have any power now, as the screen won't light up anymore when the key is in. I pulled off the seat covering the engine, and whenever I touched the key to the port on the ski, it would make a buzzing sound inside the engine compartment. The ski had a P0505 fault code that started towards the end of last summer, and we had just replaced the Idle Bypass valve last week to try and solve that issue. Also, the ski is at 108 hours and has not had the 100 hour supercharger rebuild done. We only put the ski in the water today to free up our trailer for a new jet ski we purchased recently. If anyone knows anything that could be of help to us with this ski, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Get the battery load tested. Based on the dash flickering, you have a voltage and or connection issue. If the battery is good as per the test, reinstall and jump the solenoid. If it cranks great, replace the solenoid. Assuming it still cranks like it did before you reinstalled the battery. I say this as, if you have a poor connection at the battery, simply removing the cable and putting it back on may solve the issue.

If, the battery is good and jumping the solenoid it still cranks weird, then you have a bad cable or cable connection.
