Hi everyone,

This is my first post here. Looking for some advice. Not sure if I'm in the right forum but just looking to save some preseason $$$ by attempting to summerize my GTX by myself.

The sea doo dealer here did winterize it for me. What do I need to do to get it ready for summer? The battery is fine, I had it on a battery tender all winter, but is there much involved to get it ready? Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Paul

you could change the spark plugs... but just start it first on the hose for a couple min just make sure the water is off when the skis not running.

turn ski on then turn on the water

turn water off then turn ski off.

run it for 5min then check the oil, Oil level should be between the two marks

after that you should be good to go

lugia, I would recommend a fuel treatment also, I have found that "SeaFoam" works the best for my climate, you can get it at any parts house, advance, AutoZone, etc. Does a great job of keeping carbs clean and plugs seem to go a little farther.
