M mccurryd New Member Jul 24, 2012 #1 I recently replaced my battery in my 2006 GTX. The machine started and ran great. without the key in place, I noticed the instrument panel lights up (as a key was in place) .. The next day the battery was dead. any thoughts?

W wake155 New Member Jul 24, 2012 #2 Sounds like you have a bad DESS post causing the gauges to stay on and drain the battery
