2006 gti speedometer doest work

hey fellows i just got this newer ski after i got rid of my older 2 strokes and it put it in the water and runs great but the speedometer doesnt work the fuel guage around works and the tach on the otherside works and the all my lights work but the speedo doesnt not even showing 00 i dont know if the ski got water in it from previous owner but it is strange that the other things around it work especialy the fuel guage cause it is on the same guage any help please or at least point me in the right direction i dont see any obvious corrosion anywhere

Look for loose broken wire, bad connector, missing paddlewheel or magnets there-on.
