2005 Sportster SCIC front Cooler drain issue

As indicated the front cooler does not drain, It appears the hole in the bottom of the cooler will allow high pressure air to pass into the ski storage compartment but no liquid will drain? Any known methods to fix this challenge? I will admit it is great to store ice and cold beverages but emptying this compartment to prevent mold is tedious (Vacuum or Rags).

If anyone has a diagram of where this is supposed to drain would be helpful.

It sounds like you have a bottle cap stuck in it. I believe it just drains into the HULL of the boat. Try reaching up to it from the floor ski locker. You could also try a stiff wire to free it.

I dont use the cooler as a cooler anymore everytime i get to the sandbar the beer cans are all busted . Use an old coat hanger :cheers:

Thanks gents I'll give the coat hanger a shot, the hole is roughly 1/4 - 1/2 inch it would be lots of work to get a bottle cap in the hole possibly some sand in the hole.. hehe. Or possible beer residue from the occasional unfiltered wheat beer..

Water hose?

I've put my water hose into that hole and blew it through with water. It runs down toward my ski locker. But after blowing through it for a minute or so, it runs free.....:cheers:
