So I've been having a problem with coolant overflowing on my RXT recently I pulled the motor to replace a piston and head after a valve dropped and put it all back together with the old stretch bolts. I got it running and took it over to our house and put it on the dock lift and went to use it and it blew coolant all over the inside out of the overflow hose. So after reading I went ahead and replaced the head gasket again and put in new stretch bolts and idled it around while I was fixing the lift (the chain broke.) So I went for a little blast through the canal about 250ft @5K and then turned around and came back and did this a few times as it takes 30 minutes to get out and it was hot. So after I slowed down the HIGH TEMP lit up on the cluster and a buzzer went on solid no breaks so I killed it and looked in the bay and to my surprise coolant had gone everywhere again. So I did a compression test and go 125-135 per cylinder cold. So it looks like it wasn't the head gasket. So I'm wondering what is going on it seems to boil/ bubble just sitting at idle once it is hot and when I open it up for just a few seconds the coolant rises and breaches the cap. So where do I go from here. I pulled the engine and put it back in... So could I have put a hose on wrong... Pinched one I just don't know where to go from here, but as they say a bad day of jet skiing is still better than a good day at work.
Thanks,
Kurt
