2005 RXP Charging Problems

Can anyone tell me what I should check for for a 2005 RXP that was winterized by dealer last year and put in the water this year and the charging system isn't working? I placed the battery in a warm place over the winter and charged it before placing it back in seadoo. Used it over the weekend and the battery went dead. Then I recharged the battery put it back in the jetski and it started up but tried disconnecting one of the cables and it shut off right away. Also when they winterized the ski they had replaced the complete power trim unit under warranty because of problems with it.

Gary, the worst thing you could do is disconnect the cable from the battery when the seadoo is running. It causes a power surge to the electrical components and does all kinds of damage. I would have the battery checked and if it is a bad battery replace it. If it still has charging problems you might have to have it checked at the dealer for other problems with the electrical components.
