Buddy of mine just bought a mint one with 86hrs. Did this year still have the ceramic part in the SC that would grenade? What else should he be looking at doing?

05 does have ceramic washers. Also there are sodium liters . There are threads about that. He needs to find out if it was updated

Sodium exhaust valves is what he is referring to.

yip,
valves, supercharger (I think the only years the valves were for sure not in doubt was 08+)
and inspect motormounts, driveline, pto bearing, carbon seal.
The last couple I've been involved with had some or all of the above.
