2005 GTX 155 Gauges and Display no function

Hello guys,

i bought my gtx 155 from 2005 couple of month ago.
With couple of problems, but I was able to fix lot of them. My instruments are not working at all. I checked the connection - i get 12v on power line and 2,45 on BUS lines.
Also as soon i put my key on, i hear the long beep (no instruments communication).

After i opened the instruments housing, i found the dead diode on +12v on the connector plate inside (see photo), replacing of them don't fixed the issue. Gauges and display still not working - no initial run.
Gauge-Motors are fine and very smooth in motion.

Do someone have an idea, what i can do more? Maybe some of you know, which parts gets mostly dead, so i can check, before i invest days in understanding of the circuit plate?

Thanks a lot!

P.S. I'm living in Cyprus (island), so repairing service in US would't be a solution, because of the price of the logistics.

I don't even mess with those clusters anymore. You can buy the newer China cluster style for less than $100 and swap it out with just a minor modification to the hood.

I went through two clusters on my 2002s, but that was when you could still buy a new one. The problem is once you pull them apart ... good luck getting them to seal and vent properly again. Good to know there's at least a knock off version available.

I just did a trade for a 2004 and it's missing the cluster seen many people say go after market but haven't found any info on how to go that route.
All the clusters I've seen are 4 pin connector and yet the OEM is 12 pin so just trying to find out what is needed to do.

OK never mind I figured out how to make this work. Come to find out the 2002 to 2005 has the same pin out as the 2006 to 2009 the only difference was that the air temp and compass were external to the new is all internal so just the four wires is all it needed.
SeaDoo Manuals - FREE PDF Download! is a great place to start it shows the pinouts for the clusters
