2005 Bombadier-Engine slipping

After running the engine of our Bombadier for about half an hour, more or less, the engine seems to slip. It pushes the boat forward but it will not accelerate, although it throttles. This usually happens after we slow the boat for a moment, in a no-wake zone for instance. After we turn the engine off and let it sit, usually the problem is resolved, but not always. Any suggestions?

did you check the wear ring, the 4 strokes are bad for cutting up the wear rings. if they are worn at differant rpms it will feel like a clutch slipping.

Look under the bottom at the intake grate and into the impeller for trash. Especially in the impeller area.............:agree::cheers:
