Anyone have hard start issues. Boat cranks and after some time will start but doesn't seem to be running on all cylinders and keeps fouling plugs. Any idea what might be causing this?

Hey there, I own the same boat. Sounds like you need a complete tune-up. I reccomend draining and disposing of your old fuel. Only use high octane/ethanol free fuel. Do a complete oil change with BRP oil and filter. You can get this off Amazon (~$70). Go to your local auto parts store and get 3 new NGK spark plugs (~$15, replace once a year, fouling is common). Make sure that your ignition coil boots are good and o- rings are not damaged. This seals all contaminates in bilge from getting into cylinders. This could cause excess fluid to get in your cylinders. Check your battery by taking it to your auto parts store and having them put it on a tester. Lead acid batteries should always be on a trickle charger when in storage or not in use. Check all of your wires from motor to rectifier to battery to make sure no oxidation on connections. Check your air intake box and conduit to make sure no holes. You may need to disconnect to make sure no fluid in intake hose. Always have water hose attached when running dry. You only have 3-5 minutes with water hose before things get hot.
