2004 Seadoo RXP Fuel pump

So i been having an issue with my ski after recently buying it.. I was having times were it would not start periodically , finally in a time where it was stuck not starting I chased the problem down to the fuel pump not getting ground. I assumed it was the ground screw on the block at first :facepalm: after that was an obvious fail i took it to the dealer and they are saying the ECU is bad and the cost is crazy... If i were to buy a used ECU with the key from someone would it be as simple as swapping it out and i could skip having it programmed or is there more to it?
