2004 RXP reset maintenance on start up.

I have read that the maintenance" that shows up on start up and goes away is an oil change reminder. Since, it did show up while operating and no performance issues, I ignored it while on lake Powell. I read that that the dealer has to erase the code. But most just ignore it and move on. I did try to hit the set key while pluging in, but it did not work. And I discounted the battery over night. So, it look look like I will have to live with it. Closest dealer= 1.5 hour drive one way.

Try posting your question/comment in the 4-Tek PWC section of the forum. Someone there may know how to reset it without needing a dealer.

I believe the answer is Dealer Only...

Yes dealer is the only one who can Reset it.. Unless you have a candoo you can do it your self

Looks like a candoo is $399 for private up to 4 crafts in our proformance section vender. Not bad. Maybe later, or find someone nearby.
