2004 GTX 4tec Starter issues

Clicks when starting, let it sit for 10-15 minutes and it would turn over again, let it sit 15-20 minutes now and just clicks, trying to find where the starter is located so i can check my connections, etc and i cant see it.

anyone can cue me in on checking this turd id appreciate it.

Take the spark plugs out and try it again (with the plugs out)...or try and rotate the PTO by hand...then report back.

rampage, the plugs have been out, my loving mother took the ski when i was out of town and hooked the ski to the hose, and filled the motor full of water.

I pulled the plugs & cleared the cylinders of water. now its just clicking and wont turn over, im thinking the battery got worn down to the point of it doesnt have enough juice to turn the starter. I was cranking the starter no more then 8-10 seconds and letting it sit, 3-5 minutes in between each crank to make sure not to burn it up.
