2004 GTX 4-tec, beeping issue

Shotin the dark, but hoped someone might have an idea. My guages dotnt work. I flipped this thing a while back going really crazy. everything good but gauges got water in them and just stopped. Was a whole lot to get fixed so Ive rode as is. Now if my doo is getting low on gas it will do the standard beep every few seconds until I get it gassed up. I just recently had a new starter, solenoid and voltage regulator installed. Oil change and new plugs. Now if i first start up or if Ive been riding a while and slow down I start to get a beep and then about 40 seconds later another long beep. It will do this until I start riding under normal throttle again. I looked online and was told it could mean oil pressure low or it cuould be overheating. I woudl thik Id know if overheating and if oil pressure low this long Id of thought Id have seriosu issues even riding at this point. this has been going on for two weeks. I figured Id ask the pros on here and hope to get lucky. Thanks to all

If I understood right, your gauges stills not working, correct?

I would suggest you get them fixed ASAP to check that issue.

According the behavior you described I believe you are experiencing some "engine temperature too high">... maybe due a faulty sensor or even some failure in the exhaust cooler system (J-Pipe).

If you got water in the information center, that could cause the problem you are experiencing. Check the 1A fuse on the MPEM. I had water in my information center, and it caused all sorts of erroneous faults.
