The gear on my starter was slipping so I replaced starter and relay. Now that I've put everything back together the ski starts like a charm but won't go faster than 15-20mph with throttle all the way. Occasionally rpm and speed will shoot up but only for a few seconds and I can't find any rhyme or reason to it. Really trying to diagnose without tearing back apart... It's a pain to have to put in and out of the water to find out it's still not working properly.
Based on other threads could this be limp mode?
Any guidance appreciated.
