Hey guys i have a2004 gti le rfi that doesnt seem to give up. i had the ski saying it was over heating and wouldnt turn on. i put a new computer (computer snapped) now i rode it the other day and it wont do the 2 long beeps and say its over heating but when i hit the start button it clicks at the selinoid but wont turn over. the fuel pump i hear prime as well. any ideas?? i jumped the starter but no luck still just sparks and nothing. and when i hit the button it says high temp. im getting annoyed again!!:facepalm:

To clarify.
When the engine is cold, does it start up? If so, do you get the over heat code instantly or only after you ride a bit?

Before i put the computer in it the ski never said over heat until i shut it off then the code would come up. some times it would still let it start other times nothing. now i put another computer in the ski and it ran like a bat out of hell and everything was great until i shut it off. i get the 4 beeps(i think its 4) and then i hit start and i hear a click at the selinoid the the high temp would show on the dash but the fuel pump would still prime every time i hit start. it doesnt do the 3 long annoying beeps to let you know the ski is overheating. i think the starter may be siezed because i jumped it and i got nothing at all. i dont know what else it could be
