My friend just bought a 2003 4-Tek with less than 100 hours. The Doo looks good and we changed the oil today and filter, run it for a bit and every time we check the oil it has more in it. The oil isn't getting milky so it's not water. The guy he bought it from said it had not been used in 2 years and he just didn't want it anymore. It runs kinda ruff but we were not able to get the old gas out so thinking maybe bad gas. I'm thinking some how the fuel is getting into the oil. Have any other ideas?

buy an oil pump and take out the excess oil until your no more then half way between the two indents...then put in new plugs!! DO NOT run it with excess oil in the engine, it will run like shit and could cause damage.

Good luck

I know how to change oil and I know how much oil to put in, and I "have an oil pump". I have been changing oil in boats for years, and watercraft for about three years, hence the question. We changed the oil and filter, ran it for a minute checked the oil it was OK, just just below the full mark. Took it out for a short run, checked the oil again and it was over full. This never happend before with any watercraft. Put the oil pump back on and sucked out some more oil and put it at the top level. Ran the seadoo some more and the oil came up again. Like I said before, the only thing I can think of is fuel is being dumped into the crankcase but I have no idea how. Does anyone have any idea how this may happen?

BTW, friend says it's an 2004 not a 2003, non-super charged model.
