I keep having a maintenance light come on and he keeps going into limp mode I think. It will just go about 25-35 MPH. And if you gun it it i runs rough. I have replaced the voltage regulator, tried a new computer and still keeps throwing the code. And it also sounds like a fork in a garbage disposal. So I am replacing the impeller. I sent it to a repair shop and they have washed there hands of it. Any other suggestions? Has anyone had the same issues. If so what did you do to fix it?

You are going to have to buy a code reader like the CandooPro, you can't just guess and throw parts at these.

Sounds like the shop doesn't know what they are doing.
Agree. You sometimes need to pull codes repetitively to properly diagnose a DI. Due to their age, very few shops have the capability and expertise to properly work on a DI. My local SeaDoo dealer will not even touch them. CanDooPro is the only real option. I regret waiting as long as I did before buying one.

When a rectifier is putting out too much AC voltage it will make the electrical system go crazy throwing all kinds of codes.
Put a volt meter on the battery, start the ski and rev to 5000rpms and read the meter. If it is over 14.5vdc then change the rectifier. I recommend only OEM rectifiers. Some guys use a 4tec rectifier with good luck, but never use a cheap ebay rectifier.
