Hello everyone!!
I got my seadoo out yesterday to prep it for the upcoming season.
It fired up right away and I than put the hose to it and played with the throttle a bit to get all the fog out of it. I than for some reason shut the machine off while water was still running to it(stupid i know) i quickly started the doo back up but did not get any throttle response. I than shut the water off and than machine and waited for a few seconds. I fired the seadoo back up and than put the water to it and the throttle was fine and the machine sounded great. So after all this my question is.....is it possible flowing water to it for those couple seconds without the motor running could hae caused any damage????????
Like i said it ran fine afterwards.
any advise is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, and I hope everyone has a great season!

You could have... but in this case, you are fine.

Since you started it back up... any water that may have gotten into the engine was purged out. The problem is, some people will do that, then let the engine sit until it's time to go for a ride. The problem now is, that the internals of the engine will start to rust.

So... you did the right thing by getting it restarted. Don't worry.

Excellent news, thats exactly what I was hoping to hear. I had to much bad luck last season hoping for a trouble free one this year.
Thank you Dr. Honda

Seadoo 13,

I absolutly love my machine...I know its going to fire up everytime and it never leaves me guessing...machine runs strong and I have had zero issues with it!! in my opinion its a great buy...but like everything else you will hear good and bad about every doo out there.

Great Machine

One of the best SeaDoos made at that time. I have an 02 RXDI and like steady said it is a very good ski. Never leaves u stranded... the only thing i just replaced(after 8 years of no problems except for regular maintenence) was the pump house and something electrical at the front.

Awesome Ski:)
