i just found out that my engine is blown(hole in the block) only 23 hours on the machine. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what to do or any good websites that sells engines. I also have a 2004 GTX 4-Tec Surecharged that runs good. My problem is the cost of a new engine is how much the ski is worth. Should i part it out or keep it. The Hull and supercharger and ECM are all in great condition, I picked up both of them from my cousin for cheap. What should i do? HELP PLEASE....!

Google "SBT SeaDoo" and you'll find links to their website, they're out of Florida. Your core won't be any good with a hole in it though, so you'll have to pay their core charge to get 1 of their rebuilt engines (at least go to their site and find out!). If you like the hull, then get a rebuilt engine for it.. if the hull's in bad shape or you don't like it, then list it on Ebay for cheap and somebody will probably buy it (but we're talking hundreds of dollars here max!). You might be able to find a take-out used 4TEC engine on Ebay if you search for a few weeks or months... I've seen them listed, pulled from SeaDoo's that were wrecked.

It's your choice what you do. These are just some options. You might could even have a good welder weld the broken piece back to the block, but there's probably internal damage as well that you'd have to fix so that option might not be cost effective either IDK.

thanks for the suggestion michael, im still unsure what i want to do. Two seadoos would be better than one, but if its going to cost a arm and leg to fix then ill just part it out.
