Trying to buy this 2003 GTX DI and every time you push the throttle the maintenance light comes on and it goes in limp mode, back off the throttle to idle and the light and beeping stop. Just put in a new battery before taking it out. Any thoughts???
notorious for going through rectifiers on the DI models, check the charging system make sure its charging, mine put the maint light on when i fitted a new battery for a few rides, then it seemed to go back to normal and work fine
