2003 GTI Top Speed

Hey guys, I just built a 2003 GTI. New top end. I"m seeing 44mph on the gps. Runs great, good power down low and launches pretty darn good. I was thinking it should go a little faster top speed I haven't checked the plugs yet. I installed an adjustable carb off a 98 GS. I checked the prop as I was going over the ski and it is stock. What is a realistic top speed for these skis?

Nope, that is about as fast as they go.
You have the remember that is the biggest and heaviest hull they put a 720 in.

Yep. I have the same. 44 mph is good. Reliable ski.

It’s the one ski my wife won’t let me get rid of. Out of a 96’ XP, 01’ XP, HX and 2 superjets it’s the only ski that gets to go play on every trip. She absolutely loves it.
