I need to change the oil cooler of a 2003 sea doo 4 tec. All my torque sockets I have are tool big to enter the confined space.. Any one knows what kind of torque wrench or specialised small tool I need to do the job! ( it's name so I can get it online) any help would be greatly appreciated

you need a set of e-torx sockets. The oil cooler has 4 e torx bolts and simple to change but you should remove the 7 bolts(same size and type of the oil cooler) for the intake manifold and pivot it out of the way towards the front then you will have easy access.

Thanks! But if I remove the intake manifold, will I then have to replace it's gaskets or o-rings? As I ll need to wait another 3 weeks for parts?

No, the gaskets are reusable O-rings. It's well worth the time to unbolt it and move it out of the way which takes about 15 minutes.

Job done. Yes very easy to take cooler out once intakeanifold is out off-the-way. Just need to be very careful when bolting the intake manifold on. If you don't follow tightening sequence vacuum will be created. Once started engine was high rev idling 3000 rpms. Tightened again the bolts and it snapped on place. Thén it worked fine. Will test drive it tomorrow! Fingers crossed
