Hey,
Have a 2002 utopia 205 and trailer. Noticed when pulling the tounge of the trailer slides in/out when i take off or brake. More correctly it slams in/out. Just found out it is part of a hydraulic brake system and at the least is low/out of brake fluid. Haven't gotten to work on it yet. Was hoping someone may have any helpful info/details on this before i tear into it. Will grab some pictures of it and post here in next day or 2. Thanks for any help.

If it's out of fluid... and you've been running around like that... I'm guessing you've beat the master cyl to death. Also... break fluid is corrosive, and attracts water. SO... if it's empty... I'm also going to guess that the system is rotten internaly.

When I bought my Islandia, the trailer breaks were shot. I replaced them with electric brakes, and life has been good ever since.
