Hey everyone im new to the seadoo world, im a car mechanic and i cant figure out why my ski wont go over 30, i bought it off of a guy who had it sitting for about 2 years i took out all the old gas and replace it with new gas and some intake clean and then ran the tank dry, it doesnt idle right and it takes like 30 trys before it will start, and it has bad pick up, what else should i do, any help would be appreciated, again im new to the seadoo world! Thanks

alright so im not getting spark from my back cylinder, my plugs are brand new and my wires and good, i think it might be my coil.

Try this:
Remove the spark plug boots and clip the wires back about 1/4 inch or so.
Then reassemble and try before digging deeper.

alright so it so happens that my coil was good, but the the wire that runs from the coil to the computer the pin in the connector was pushed back so it wasnt making contact pushed it back in and the ski was running great, then i came back in and now i have a water leak from a connector on my head pipe lol cant get a break!
