i found this jetski and i want to buy it but i was wondering if someone can help me out... the owner says it has 140hrs on it that seems like alot..is it? also he says its in mint condtion and the price is 3250$ would that be a good price for this ski? also if any one who owns one has a opinion please give me your review on the ski!!!

That's a good bit of use on it but not out of the ordinary.

As for the price, it's a bit high. He's asking the retail value of your ski as quoted by Kellys Blue book. I have a feeling, he looked it up.

In most conditions, this price is what a retail dealer would ask from you if the ski was in pristine condition.

The ski is the RFI (rotax fuel injected) and is one of the better motors. The DI (direct injected) is one that I'd warn you to stay away from.

I would suggest you get a compression gage and check both the cylinders before making an offer. Your compression should be greater than 135 psi and within a few pounds of each other. A lot of times, people will put a ski up for sale when it becomes a headache. The compression test will help you determine what condition your pistons are in.

If you can ride it, I'd recommend you do that too. Make sure you check it for any maintenance codes at the info center.:cheers:
