Hi.

Recently the 2amp fuse that controls the speedometer and fuel/electronic info gauge keeps blowing. As soon as I replace it and start it the fuse blows again. Does anyone have an idea of what else I can check? Bad ground? Could one of the gauges be bad?

Thanks much!

Any thoughts? I was told one of the gauges could be bad and to disconnect them both, put a new fuse in and start. If fuse doesn't blow plug one of the gauges in and start etc.

any fix for this? I am having the same problem on same year and model machine, I've tried disconnecting the guages, fuel pump, oil sensor, stator with all them disconnected its still blowing

anyone have any schematics on what else runs on that circuit ? or knows?

Still no fix...

Hey There,

I still haven't found a resolution... Ive been running my ski with no gauges but I want to fix this problem.

If anyone has any wiring diagrams I can figure it out, just don't have the time or fuses to waste by trail and error guessing lol

Need to know what circuits run off that fuse

I'm in flight right now. If I remember, I can post some wire schematics later.

Try unplugging the larger of the two harness's on the power trim control housing in the rear. In the MPEM The fuse labeled "VTS" is in fact for the power trim motor, but I believe the VTS control is powered from the accessory (2amp) fuse. Those are notorious for causing trouble.

I think its a 6 wire connector.
