At one point with my ski about two years ago I put in bad two stroke oil, non synthetic, not the right stuff. I realized, drained it out and put in the proper sea doo two stroke oil. I remember being cautioned that the mixture of the two oils could ruin the engine, but it seems to be okay, although I replaced the plugs which seem to be bad possibly ruined by the oil.
The only thing is I put in two quarts and the oil tank looks 3/4 full, but for some reason the oil light stays on and I am just wondering where to look for a disconnected wire or faulty sensor?
