2002 GTX Di Won't Crank

My 2002 SeaDoo GTX won't crank and I'm all out of ideas. When I hit the start button it sounds like the starter is frozen, it just clunks once and that's it. But when I jumped the solenoid it cranked like it's suppose to. I picked up a new 230cca AGM battery, replaced the solenoid, and even swapped the MPEM with an extra one I had. Still having the same issue.

Any ideas appreciated!

I would remove the spark plugs and make sure you can turn the engine over easily by hand just to eliminate an mechanical issue.

Sorry, I should’ve mentioned that. I’ve pulled the spark plugs and turned it by hand successfully

Since it cranks when you jump it, I would check your connections, grounds, and fuse holders.

start/stop switch?

edit: i re-read your post. maybe check the connections and/or the wiring for corrosion.

Sounds like the starter. Might pull the starter and replace the brushes.
