My ski is broke and I've been told that I need to replace the entire engine. I believe that rebuilding the top end will fix my problem. Is it easier to rebuild the top end or bite the bullet and replace the engine? I was not riding it when it broke. My sister said it made a "wierd" noise and then started smoking bad and then died. I've never had any problems with it before this happened and had it serviced properly. I'm looking to fix the ski myself and save some money if possible.
