My machine just starting this year starts a little hard, but does start. seems to take a few secounds to warm up, and the biggest prob is that when you run it wide open or close to the rpms will stop around 6000 and then from time to time the more its runing they will shoot up to about 8000. i have had a chek engine warning come on a couple of times but goes right off. and from time to time i get a maint warning. i was woundering if anyone had any ideas becaus i dont have any extra money to just take it to the dealer. thank you jon.

I am not sure what you can do to take the "maint" light off if you don't have BUDS. The codes you can check and see what they are.
Put the key in, push the "set" button 5 times and some codes will display. When you have them there is a page with the codes for people to decipher what they could be.
