2002 GTX 4-tec Guage (LCD) not working

Greetings,

Ive done a lot of searching the last few weeks. My LCD is dead. Has power and I sent it to to get rebuilt/tested and they say its dead, LCD repair wont work. Anyone have any luck of finding anyone who will test the actual electronics or do repairs? I cant see spending $700+ just to see how much fuel I have and a few other goodies.

I expect your question will go unanswered because I've never come across a service that can repair the electronics on these "information centers." I had two 2002 GTX 4-tec skis and ended up replacing both of the information centers at different points in time. The problem with the early units is they were subject to water intrusion, and once that happens ... that's it.

Now years later, it's impossible to find a new one because Sea-Doo doesn't support these older skis anymore.

I'm with you on the price. I guess it's like most BOATS ('Bout another thousand.)
