Hi folks, Popped the boat in the water (2002 Challenger 1800, 210 M2 Jet) last weekend and no dice. Turned over but no spark at the engine. Fixed this past week at a shop- stator needed to be replaced.
Here's the funny thing: boat starts and runs great but:
1. None of the gauges work. Oil light does blink at start. Checked the fuse at the gauges and it is fine.
2. After it has been running a while, turning the key off doesn't always shut it off- just keeps running. Have to hit the kill switch to turn it off.
Any ideas on either of these? I'll be taking it back to the shop on Tuesday but I was just thinking that (1) may be something simple, and for (2) I'd really like to get some info about your opinions on this so I am armed with some level of understanding when I bring it back.
Thanks!
