2001 Seadoo RX RFI

Hey guyz.

I've came across a 2001 seadoo RX RFI and it usually runs about 62 MPH.

The other day it started losing power and got down to the point where it only ran about 25 mph tops. I had some work done on it and cleaned the injectors.

Did a test run for about 2 hours and it ran fine. After about 2 hours, it started losing power again, especially when i jump a wake, it kind of cuts out.

It finally got back down to a top speed of 25 MPH or less again.

Has anyone out there experienced this problem before with this/ any other ski?

I have the same problem

2001 Seadoo xp - won't come out of low into high - max speed is 25 - 30 MPH - running approx 4000 -4500 RPMs.

plugs are running on the dry side - not too much oil.

Do the carbs have to be rebuilt or could it be something else?

rx di loosing power

I too am haveing power problems after it has run for about 40 minutes.
i have found if i shut it off and restart it will again go back to full preformance but it will again drop its power slowly . Again if i shut it off and restart it good for a while.
Full pump new about a year ago also put full pressure gauge and it carrys the 27 lbs before start up after start up it goes off the meter as far as pressure.
I also pulled pump and checked pickup seems clean and good as far as i can see .
