My jet ski was running fine until late last summer when I put my jet ski in the lake and was accelerating up to speed and it all of a sudden went into idle only. If I squeeze the accelerator you will hear a change in the tone of the engine but it remains at idle speed. I was able to accelerate again after the jet ski being off for a while but it went back into idle once again. When I had it winterized there were no codes and it seems to operate fine when running out of the water. Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on? Thanks.
